Hi Paul Thanks for that. How come you're more polite on messages than you are when I phone you up? We didn't take the dogs with us yesterday as believe it or not the sun was out & we knew the site & it was in open fields with no shade. So although enjoyable - it was like going out with my right hand missing. Buse had her stitches out Saturday & alls well.Sims getting to be independant from Buse & likes his own space sometimes - I think thats probably as he's had 'the look' from Buse as much as to say you lie there & start snoring I'll not be pleased. In fact the other night they acted just like husband & wife in that Sim was snoring so much she got up & nudged him to wake him up & turn him over !! Ju

Hopefully attached is a video link. The first time I gave Sim a marrow bone from the butchers & tried to take it off him - he 'went' for me, so he got severely growled at by me & has learnt his lesson. www.youtube.com/watch?v=g1rLiHK0JOYJu

You got that right Ewa At the moment with the lovely weather am having to keep check of what kids etc we have around or not - sleep overs in tents on the garden . There is lots going on this weekend re shows - but we have decided its way too hot for dogs to go anywhere, so shall just be chilling at home & BBQs etc. Chucked Clive out at 6.30am today to take dogs out so they have a good run before it gets too hot. Neighbours daughter is getting married today - leaving in a horse & cart so shall take dogs out to say hello . Ju

Chucked Clive out at 6.30am today Hmmm, Poor Clive doesn't have a very easy life now does he Neighbors daughter is getting married today - leaving in a horse & cart so shall take dogs out to say hello . Ju What did the poor girl do to deserve having the departure on her big day havocked by dogs? Wait, thats just it - In the UK it OK to do things like that to neighbors - My neighbors still haven't recovered I think from being told the only use a JRT has is to clean the toilet

Ewa So I'm not PC in my ways - just don't like little dogs. The bride looked gorgeous. & I brought Clive a big green outside beanbag that moulds to whatever shape you want ie laying flat or sitting, so he had to relax all day yesterday! How good am I as a wifey? Ju

Paul, i visited julie today to see the dogs she had from yourself , i was greeted with a few head butts from the bitch who let me know exactly who was boss and that i was only there because she allowed it ! i fell in love with her on sight...this is exactly the type and colouring i am after ..the dog was very laid back and being only 6 months not yet taken his place as the dominant dog but his colouring is too light for me. My only concern is that i do wish to breed so two questions come to mind 1) will i be able to sell the puppies and 2 ) if i can sell them will i be able to find suitable homes as its quite clear they are not a dog for everyone and could quite easily fall into the wrong hands ! At least you know now what type i am looking for if i can find one like her then i will be more than pleased, many thanks, Above is an email from a gentleman who came to visit.Buse was in her humorous mood & the gent was a little hesitant which made her 'mis-behave' even more - all the time with tail wagging. Buse would have been due in season - her head at the moment says she should be moody, but her body isn't complying - has anyone else experienced the same with a spayed bitch? Sim is also 'limping' at the moment - but looking back on how Buse was at that age we experienced exactly the same with her & just rested her - growing spurts I put it down to. Would be interested for other views/experiences etc. Ju

Three things worry me about this.
The first is the insistence of a particular colour when we all know that is the last thing you look at,particularly last in line when temperament is paramount. It's great to have a fave colour as I myself do but I look at lots of other things first.
The next is that the man doesn't even have a bitch yet he is already planning a breeding and who to sell puppies to.Best advice is that they are hard to home to the correct people, which is absolutely true,we are lucky that we have had only one BB bitch back due to a change in the family's circumstances and they put the dog first.
The third is a comment from Jules that the man was hesitant.Hesitant people are not the best for the breed,I wouldn't be surprised if a dog walked all over the top of him.Busi is not an imposing bitch to people who are not scared of large dogs,in fact she is a sweetie.Like all dogs she senses fear and will act up on it.
JMHO.

Started some back-door agility Couldn't post Buse & her jumps as we did that Thursday night & the light was too poor to really see anything. Hopefully (under boys instruction) have manage to post the lik for Sim - this was only his 2nd attempt at the weave - so maybe not as daft as he looks.
