EBBASA APPRAISAL

“The UKBC would like to congratulate James Brennan on becoming the UK & Ireland EBBASA representative.

In this capacity James has asked the UKBC to host an EBBASA appraisal in conjunction with the braai already planned for the 28th of October at Coombe Hall, Drewsteignton, Devon , EX6 6PX .

The EBBASA appraisal is open to all SABT birth recorded dogs over the age of 9 months Dogs which pass the appraisal and have been certified free of hip displasia, entropion, ectropion and, if applicable, vaginal hyperplasia can be registered with EBBASA.

This is another great opportunity to get an unbiased and expert opinion on your dog and to get together with other Boerboel enthusiasts, please do come along!

I have posted a similar question direct onto UKBC Board.
Being simple am a little bit confused as to who does what etc & does it really matter if we all have the BBs regards in the forefront ?

I know when I mentioned on the board about an EBBASA appraisal I was shot down in flames as I was told that UKBC was affiliated to the SABT,but I guess things change,perhaps they are not affiliated to the SABT now,or maybe they are to both?
The good thing is that perhaps now the UKBC will stop being so closed off to K.C. registration and in working with EBBASA who in turn are working with KUSA we may see K.C. registration sooner than we think now that breed had been fully recognised by KUSA and soon the FCI.
It's only a matter of time. ;D Sandra.

Anne and I are the official EBBASA representatives for Denmark and the UK and we have that in writing, it has also been published in the official EBBASA magasine. As for what is going on, I cannot tell you. Probably the right hand not knowing what the left hand is doing. As far as we know, Sascha is not an official appraiser for EBBASA, and until things get sorted out, I would advise everyone to take things calmly and not to get their dogs appraised until an official statement can be attained from EBBASA´s international representative Piet Sprinkhuisen.
