EBBASA Appraisal and Representation

There has been in recent days some confusion in relation to the position of the EBBASA Representative for the United Kingdom and Ireland. My appointment was confirmed initially in a letter to me on 9 October 2006. Because of the above mentioned subsequent confusion, my appointment as the sole representative for EBBASA for the United Kingdom and Ireland was reconfirmed to me in a letter, received today, dated 13 October 2006, signed by Mr. Piet Sprinkhuizen in his capacity as Founder, Board Member and Board Member for International Affairs. There is no other EBBASA representative in the United Kingdom.

This letter also addresses the recent queries with regard to the appointment of Sascha Ernst as an official appraiser of EBBASA.

I have appended below the text of the above mentioned letter:

TO WHOM IT MAY CONCERN

RE: EBBASA CONFIRMATION

This letter serves to confirm that I, Piet Sprinkhuizen, official Board Member of EBBASA International Affairs, hereby appoint James Brennan as the EBBASA representative for the UK and Ireland respectively.

This also serves to confirm that Sascha Robert Ernst will be sent as a representative to perform appraisals for and on behalf of EBBASA.

Please do not hesitate to contact me should there be any further queries in this regard.


I hope that this clarifies matters and I look forward to seeing you all at the EBBASA Appraisal in Devon.

This is very confusing, 2 days ago Piet reconfirmed that we were still the representatives for UK.
If the above is correct then knowing Mr. Brennan´s close connections with the UKBC (he was chairman for UKBC last year), I retract my statement about promising that owner´s names and addresses will not be passed on to people that might misuse them. We will obviously have no influence on how things will develop.

I do not intend to get into prolonged mudslinging with you or anyone else on the internet. You have however just impugned my character and good name on a public forum wit your implications. Please do not do this again. If you have something to say to me, do it face to face and man to man. I do not propose to comment on this matter again on a message board but I will not stand still for anyone impugning my ethics or character on any public forum. I will take the appropriate action if it recurs.

Acually I didn't find Shauns post mudslinging at all. I just found him making a statement as to were he (and Anne) stands as (former) rep's of the EBBASA in the UK. Which would be; Any promisses they made as rep's , they no longer can stand up to since obviously noone seem to know who's who anymore. Which really makes my confidence in these organisations grow

I think that if you took the time to read the post properly, you will not find any references to your character. You will find that I state that I cannot back any promises up that I made unless I am in the place to do so.
Why the implied threats? What are you going to do? Is this the way you are going to continue your leadership, by threats? I had hoped a more constructive approach.

I think that most people here are intelligent enough to read between the lines as to what has apparently happened.

Just for my understanding - why weren´t the other representatives informed about that, especially Shaun and Anne? It´s not fair to inform them in this way and not a good start to speak about appropriate actions...

Hello Meike, going behind peoples back and telling lies are the hallmarks of UKBC activity. We have yet to be informed officially by EBBASA of any changes and therefore we have to assume that things have not changed.
