Hi Vicki,
Sounds a great idea!
Paul and I were talking about what our next event should be. The club insurance will cover any event organised by the club - it provides cover for the venue and any incident between dogs or people and has been paid for a year.
Have you a date in mind?
Geri

Make it a "bring a bottle and dish of food" and Sandra and Ju for entertainment and then the cost will be minimal!

Vikki don't worry about entertainment - I'll bring the kids & Clive for free! As far as grub & booze goes - we can all brown bag it surely ? Ju

I know I'm a bit new to be making suggestions, but SAMBA GLOBAL in Belgium/Netherlands are holding a Boerboel symposium on 8/9th September, all about Boerboels with speakers on different subjects. If you are going to hold an event, perhaps the week before would be good, then all us folk flying over to Europe could come early and join in. I come over to the u.k. at least twice a year and would love to meet up. West Sussex is where we come from (Horsham) and my mum still lives there.

Hi Vikki Don't have details of where exactly Ewa lives apart from southern Sweden I think. We are flying out from Birmingham on Thursday 16th Aug into Copenhagen & from there Ewa has very kindly agreed to pick us up.Then from there over to where Ewa lives takes about an hour by car. We come back on the Monday - so am planning to make a nice long weekend of it & really looking foward to a break from all if you know what I mean. Ju

Likewise Anne Poor Ewa won't know what she's let herself in for ;D Really looking foward to the trip already & it'll be great to put faces, dogs & names together & share a common love of the BB. That's what was so nice about the Ebbasa appraisal , everyone chilled with no 'hidden agendas' but all there to meet everyone we didn't already know. The weather really didn't matter to us. It was good to meet people who live not far from us & hopefully in the near future we'll run the dogs out together(Only if they disguise the fact he's such a good looking boy though ) Will it just be you there Anne & Shaun holding the fort back at home? Ju

If we have puppies Shaun will stay at home this year. Last year he went and I took care of dogs and puppies. Our dog sitter is not available this weekend. She likes Ewa's company and cooking too. Anne

Easiest way to get here is to fly in to either Copenhagen or Malmö airport, then give us a holler and we'll pick you up. Just drop me a mail or a PM if you want more details, tell us you coming. Ewa

Likewise Anne Poor Ewa won't know what she's let herself in for ;D Ewa knows exactly what shes getting herself inot! That's why shes got herself the week of to prepare and have friends in the policeoffice Really looking foward to the trip already & it'll be great to put faces, dogs & names together & share a common love of the BB. That's what was so nice about the Ebbasa appraisal , everyone chilled with no 'hidden agendas' but all there to meet everyone we didn't already know. The weather really didn't matter to us That's what it's normaly like over here for the bbq as well. We don't really care where your bb comes from - as long as you have one So NO bs about breeders or people not present while you're in our enviroment. But hopefully it goes without saying! Ewa

Good grief Geri If X amount of hubbies, 2 teenagers & my parents can't control me - then I don't hink so I very often go off on tangents & explore- I think thats why I get into trouble.Wrong place, wrong time & all that. Ewa that reminds me as regards swim-suits - is there a lake nearby? Ju

Ewa that reminds me as regards swim-suits - is there a lake nearby? Ju Yes Ju . we have the sea and lakes 1 km from our house. Nude swimming is an option (allowed in the sea) at the lakes you might get chased by prude family's with children that will have the rest of their life's destroyed by possibly glimpsing a nude body (believe it or not but there is a strong opinion on nudity in Sweden). As for being controlled; My life device; "Since theres sooo many adults and grown ups in this country I deiced not to loin in, I'm sure they can run the country by them selfs - I just wanna have fun" Ewa
