I already feel the hangover creeping up - Cheap cider from the UK and scots women on prong collars in correlation with swedish vikings and mad danes - Better start buying/storing pills for hangovers, headaches and upset stomachs right now. Shaun - could we all please just plan this for the Sabt appraisal and not the Ebbasa - Then somebody else will be planning, arranging and cooking All we have to do is show up - with a smile Ewa

Thank you for the support Ju. At the moment I don't think its a problem. Just that she probably got a tad of too much goodies at New year and stressed herself from the fireworks. Bumps are probably from something that bitten her, earthflees, moscitoes..... But I don't feel comfortable leaving a partially sick dog to the babysitter and go away. He was going to work as well and wouldn't be home all day long with her either. We will just put her on the rice and cod diet and see what happens. Ewa

Hope Chili is feeling better now - it is horrible when they are ill especially because they can't say exactly which bit hurts.

Ju,
Just because you have ascended to the heavens and changed gender doesn't put you in charge.
We already established that Sandra is wearing the handcuffs - so you will have to have the prong collar and Shaun can teach Ewa how to use it.
Paul will be too busy drinking beer and serving drinks to the rest of us.
I will take charge of the camera to take all the incriminating photos and help Anne with the difficult task of cuddling puppies.
OK???

Hi Ewa,
Perhaps she will be of use washing up so I could tie her to the sink for you. I'm sure Shaun will install a special hook as a tie up post. He is getting the kitchen re-done this year so it could be built in to the design. Geri

Well Geri, Now your talking business - Sandra does the washing up and Paul keeps us in drinks ......hnmmmm ....we might even consider coming back for the appraisal even though we haven't caught up from the last one yet!
As for Shaun redoing the kitchen - only 2 things that needs to be done - Get one more huge fridge and an outdoor kennel for my dogs by my tent. Then I might be able to persuade hubby to return ;D

No need for tents Ewa, we have 3 empty bedrooms for guests. The new outdoor kennel for guest´s dogs will hopefully be finished by Summer. Sorry that you couldn´t come, I had a turkey in the oven so that we have a late Christmas dinner.
We know how it is with pets, we felt sorry for Sonny being alone downstairs so we bought an extra telly and now use most evenings downstairs with him. Our dogs are not allowed upstairs the first year, that way we can protect their elbows during the worst growing phase.
How about having a late Christmas dinner with all you people? It could be arranged here or in UK. The advantage of having it here in Denmark is that we have a huge house, we could easily convert Anne´s sewing room (16´x 36´) into a dormatory as well.
Ryanair (www.ryanair.com) do cheap flights, we could just choose a date where it was very cheap to fly.

Hi Shaun,
I would love to come to Denmark again soon but I'm not sure Paul will be able to or want to leave Toska while she is expecting. He has also been gadding about a lot recently. Half term in the second week in february but Toska will have just had her pups then.... so we may have to rain check for now.
Everyone is welcome to come to me if we can organise a get together in Britain. Is my house the most central? Nearest to Stansted???
Can't promise to match the chilli though.... but I can do a mean shepards pie?

Chili's better today. Not as many bumps and hasn't thrown up today. I bet you all she just did it 'cause she didn't want us to go cuddle other dogs.

Ewa,
Well who could blame her? She might have just been frightened that you might come back with another one. After all we are all tempted. I tried to get one in my rucksack once but Anne caught me.

Well Geri, problem is that it's not just Chili that doesn't allow me annother one, hubby's told me in no uncertain words that I can't have annother one as long as we live in this place. So now I'm househunting like mad.
Found the perfect place a while ago, could have had lots of bb's there, only problem was that neither me nor the dogs would have had any food on the table or heat in the house once the price of the house was paid. E/

Hi Ewa,
I am house hunting without success looking for a small house with some fields but we have nearly reached our limit on dogs. Paul wants to count my little ones as halves but they have characters big enough to hold their own any day.
Still hankering after a St Bernard or one of the new collies they have produced by crossing a welsh sheep dog with a St Bernard....... after all I only have 1 horse at the moment.
