Hi Leigh when buying a puppy from a reputable breeder you should get a pack containing copies of both parents pedigrees and appraisal scores. It should contain copies of both parents hip and elbow results, vaginal prolapse test results on the female and eye intropion/ectropion results for both parents at a minimum and any other test results they may have.If the puppies have been registered with SABT you should receive your paperwork for your puppy within 12months if your puppy has been registered with EBBASA you will generally receive your paperwork for your puppy within a few weeks.SABT is the oldest registry but is NOT the largest one which is EBBASA.This organisation was formed by former SABT commitee members who were concerned that the appraisal system had become more about the breeders and who was who rather than the Boerboels themselves.Hence the formation of EBBASA.Hope this helps regards Paul.
