Hello! A year ago it was a lot more happening here than now. :-) Now, it is quite quiet. (But it is still a lot of old threads to read from here with good stuff.) I can recommend the following three breeders, they are situated in Denmark and Scotland. Anasha boerboels.com/ Boelsplaas www.boelsplaas.dk/Sandaharr www.sandaharr.co.uk/Best regards Anna.

Hello!
I do not have much knowledge of the breed compared to those breeders, so I think the best thing you can do is to contact them and talk or write to them, they can surely give you info. on if the dogs from their breeding are good working dogs. :-)
My dog Zindra is kept as a guarding dog here at our home, a guarding and companion dog, she is a very good guarding dog, she also seem to be very intelligent, having an almost intuitive sense of feeling if people are "good" or "bad" acting according to that. She is still very young but I would absolutely say she is the best dog I ever have had. I am very sure that she would be even better on a farm or out in the country side, she is brave and steps forward, surely she could help out on a farm if properly introduced to the different animals there, like sheep, cows or horses.
It impresses me that she is quite muscular and "heavy" but still VERY agile and moves faster and acts faster than a lot of other dogs like GSD:s and Retrievers, at least on short distances. :-) Zindra comes from the breeder Anasha, so I think I am bit fond of that breeder of course. :-) But I know that Sandaharr in Scotland is breeding from lines from dogs that are truly working dogs, that came from Australia. Maybe that breeder could be something for you?
Best regards Anna.
