There was a horrible news story tonight of someone prosecuted for harming a dog by never adjusting it's collar. They bought a puppy put a collar on and then just let the dog grow whilst the collar cut in to it's neck.
How could anyone do that? The RSPCA prosecuted because it was such a preventable injury. All they needed to do was adjust the collar or take it off. The injury was horrible.
