I am delighted as Chairperson, to announce the forming of a new Boerboel Club, based in the UK. We aim to provide a friendly club where anyone interested in Boerboels, whether a prospective owner, owner or breeder can get un-biased advice and support without fear of ridicule or criticisim. The Club is called the Active Boerboel Club, the ABC BB Club and our aim is to promote the breed and provide an advice point for anyone. Our only criteria for membership is that people sign up to being friendly with other members of the BB community. This is just not a UK club - but world-wide - all are more than welcome.
We are delighted and grateful that Shaun and Anne of Anasha Boerboels have decided to give the new club their BB message board and we hope that all of the current board members will wish to join the club.
We hope to arrange social occasions at a range of locations within the UK and be able to speak for the majority of BB owners in the UK and represent their interests in discussions with other agencies such as EBBASA and SABT.

I'm really glad this has happened.My only wish is for no politics to be involved and for all members to treat each other as they themselves would like to be treated.I hope the club goes from strength to strength.

I am very pleased to hear of the new club and hopefully it will go from strength to strength.It will be great to have a club that has the health and welfare of the Boerboel at heart and a non political and friendly atmosphere for all people who own or are contemplating owning one of these magnificent dogs.A club run by Boerboel owners for Boerboel owners where all who are friendly and helpful are welcome.

I am delighted to report that membership of the new club is growing daily and we will make membership forms available at the appraisal on Sunday for anyone there who would like to join.
Looking forward to seeing many members at our first event, I'm sure it will be the first of many.

I am told that membership is gradually increasing at a steady rate.I believe that Julie and Geri still have membership forms available for those that would like to join the Active Boerboel Club.Regards Paul.

I notice on the South African message board they have now formed a club also called ABC which stands for the American Boerboel Club.Looks like we lead and others follow.Regards Paul.

Hi Sandra didnt realise that.Its just started being discussed on the SA message board.I happened to see them discussing ABC as a thread.I think Tom Waters has something to do with it.Seems they were discussing that old chestnut "Temperament testing".Regards Paul.
