just been reading all the reports on banning certain breeds, myself and mark feel very strongly about this is there is alot of tabo about the american bulldogs. i feel its the owners that should be banned from owning dogs not banning breeds

Vicki I quite agree Unfortunately due to the mistakes of a few irresponsible owners & nutters in Government & red tape that these laws seem to be getting passed.A 'Nanny' state is what we've become. It also makes me so angry - there are alot of bad kids out there, but the powers that be then don't turn round & say nobody is allowed to have children anymore. Out of ignorant interest 'ban-dog' is listed - the google definition is a 'mastiff type' would a BB get caught under this umbrella? Ju

no i doubt that very much as far as i'm aware a ban dogs is a cross breed unregistered with any organisation they are usually neo x pitt bull!!!! i'm sure i'll be corrected on this. i read on some site that in the usa last year 4ooo children were killed by their parents 4 by pitt bulls 12 by german shepherd..
i just feel so strongly that alot of breeds and dogs are so badly miss understood. mark takes in alot of dogs who for what ever reason are to aggreesive to be with their families in alot of cases if we didnt take them they would be put to sleep as they are classed to dangerous to be re home or even to be given the chance for re tarining. i've got a 7 yr central asian sheep dog she was the first one to bought into the uk from russia her original owner lost his job and was forced to give her up! from then she was past from one working home to another meant to be a guard dog because of this she become a very very dangerous animal would bounce from one end of her kennel to the other screaming to get at you when you walked past! after a long talk we took her home and gave her so much time and training she now 100 % a different animal i can trust her with all dogs pups, chickens and pigs and people!!!! her original owner went on to own more and more dogs that he gave up when they werent what he wanted! i want to know how and why that man was allowed to have another dog!!! luck was on dessa's side she will live out the rest of her days doing as she pleases alot of dogs arent so luckly. its heart breaking to think that dogs may have to be put down because of a few stupid owners.. GOD I COULD GO ON ABOUT THIS SUBJECT ALL NIGHT AGGGGGGGGGGGRRRRRRRR

Hi Vicki,
Absolutely agree with you the owners who neglect their dogs should be banned from ever owning another dog and parents who neglect their children should be neutered/castrated!
