Hi all could you please recommend a breeder from where I could purchase a bb puppy. or could you please direct me to where I could find more info on breeders, i live in the UK. thanks  |

Hello Steve,
may I suggest that you check out the 'members' section of this forum - you'll find quite a few breeders there, on the islands and on the continent.
Pick a few to visit, I'd say 3 at least ... - listen to what they have to say, and then compare and choose the one that you think is the best. If that one hasn't got pups at the moment, than be patient instead of buying with a breeder which is not your first choice.
On this forum you will find a lot of guidelines.

I am not a breeder but do live in the UK.
I can only go on what I know - my 2 BBs are from Bulieboerboels,(Paul & Cris)
I have also spent time with Sandra & Harry up in Scotland at Sandraharr Kennels.Also know that Topguard have bred , but have not visited as yet.
If you are near the Glos area please feel free to contact & visit.Or ask any questions etc.

i think the best thing for you to do is go to the ebbase or sabt website and there you will find a list of breeders in the uk and elsewhere . |

Hi Steve I would suggest that you try and visit as many breeders as possible and then talk and visit as many Boerboel owners as you can.Find out the fors and againsts of owning a medium to large guarding/protecting breed and then decide where you would like to buy a puppy from.Its your money and your choice.Any questions you may have ask them.There are people on this message board with lots of experience of owning,breeding and working these dogs who will gladly answer any questions you may have.Hope this helps regards Paul.
