I understand there are already people booking their dogs in.Thats great news.An ideal oppourtunity for Boerboel owners in the UK to have their dogs EBBASA appraised.Looking foward to meeting up with friends old and new.Regards Paul.

Hi guys again Have sorted out 'kids' stuff to do etc to stop them being bored. Face-painting,unicycle & juggling lessons, junior cricket etc , if anyone has anymore suggestions please let me know. PS If an 'adult' wants to try any of the above I shall not be responsible for their welfare!  I believe Paul will post tonight details of a travel lodge where those of us with dogs can book into & stop over-night. I also think there might be a small agility course set up ,again not for the adults - mind you after a few ciders, who knows what I might do. Delighted to announce the venue is Barnwell Country Park near Oundle, post code PE8 5PB for those of you with satellite navigation.  A map is available on www.northamptonshire.gov/leisure or if you google Barnwell Country Park it will take you straight there. We are also arranging a small fun agility course for the more active people and free barbecue/refreshments for everyone. We will be supplying sausages and burgers but feel free to bring more exotic things to cook if you would like. Julie is organising face painting, etc.. for the children and any adventurous adults. We are looking forward to having a great time with everyone and anyone who is interested in Boerboels is warmly invited to come along. It is a great chance to watch the dogs being appraised and talk to lots of owners and breeders about their dogs. If you are traveling a long distance and want to stay overnight there is a travel lodge at Thrapston, junction 13 of the A14, approximately 5 miles from the venue. Geri and Paul |

More details - The travel lodge telephone number is 0870 191 1611, postcode NN14 4UR. The appraisal will start at 10 am and we anticipate will finish at around 4 pm. There is no entry fee for people wanting to watch the appraisal but parking in the park is £2. You don't have to be a member of EBBASA or any other club to have your dog appraised, or to attend this event, anyone who is interested in Boerboels is welcome. It is a great opportunity to meet owners and breeders. Ewa, Anne and Shaun, You will all have to come next year!  The forecast was not good for today but the reality this morning is it's not raining and it looks like it will be brighter later on. Perhaps I shouldn't have said that!It is tempting fate. Anyway, we have a lodge as well as the park to use - so we will all be able to party inside alongside the appraisal.
