These dogs were bred yesterday, the female lives in Holland and the male in Denmark.
Both dogs are PennHIP tested and free from Hip Dysplasia/DJD, Elbow dysplasia, prolapse and eye entropion/ectropion. They are also free from crutiate ligament problems.
Both dogs are SABT evaluated.
Regards Shaun

Fantastic. We ourselves have started our breeding programme using frozen imported semen. We have bred Vrystaat Surprise to Ysterberg Laksman and Razina to Ysterberg Sokket. We don't think there will be a lot of puppies as both girls were A.I.'d but we will be keeping the best for ourselves this year!!LOL. Many thanks must go to Craig and Deborah of Ataraxia for helping us achieve this. Sandra.

We drove down to Holland to pick Laika up and then drove her to the male. We have also begun to think of AI as a solution to the distances involved with mating to selected males. At the moment we are in dialogue with one of the leading breeders in SA, and eventually we will buy our own cryo-unit (liquid nitrogen) to store the samples in. Actually such a unit is not all that expensive in comparison to so many other things, you can get them for a £1000 or so.
Now we have to think of driving her back to Holland, still even though it is a lot of work for us, PennHIP tested dogs are rare in Holland and Belgium so we will go out of our way to help breeders that want to limit their use of males to those that are PennHIP tested.

We are lucky,we have a place only an hour away that does all our storage for us,and the ops. They are fabulous.I can also hire the flask if I need it and can go and pick the stuff up myself, though I draw the line at taking the collection myself.

Well done Shaun and Anne for continually driving foward with Pennhip testing on your dogs.Your results speak for themselves. We are also following in your footsteps and will only use Pennhip on our breeding dogs.Looking foward to seeing what the results will be on our previous puppies. Will let you know any results as we have them tested.Regards Paul.
