hi shaun but what likelihood is there of actual twins? cris I have absolutely no idea, all puppies in the same litter are twins, however I presume you mean single egg twins. I have never heard of this. Shaun

I have never heard of this. Shaun Chili and Ryk are very much a like, and you would think they might be single egg twins, the only problem is that Chili is female and Ryk is male. It´s suppose to be impossible for them to be single egg twins, but we have our doubts.

We're both mortal Shaun At the very first glance I got it wrong too. Göran got it dead right though - But then - she's daddy's favorite - Mub's mine But if you have a look at the lips and the mask you'll see Chili's loooong lips and that she's got a darker mask. Ewa

Cris; Since they are so alike I've done a bit of research into the possibility of one egg twins in the dog world. I have read some articles stating that it isn't impossible but that the twins will always be from the same sex. Well Helena and me got the freak of nature - two sexed twins It's quite interesting reading about it though, and I think I have some articles laying about somewhere, about it. Ewa

Sometimes, when the litter is very big, the puppies come out 2 or 3 at a time, and sometimes the sac is burst before they come out, so it is impossible to say whether they were in the same sac or not.

hi, i'm always fascinated by the nature/nurture of twins. supposedly identical, but even if they were to live together, train together, be treated in the same way, you would end up with two totally different dogs! cris

Funny thing with Ryk and Chili, they've both got very similar temper too. Ryk's more laid back but he had to grow up earlier due to the responsibilities having a "kid sister" and Chili's the forever teenager Ewa Who'll hopefully get to see Ryk in April!
