Today the dogs had fun in our garden. We have 28 Degrees here, much too warm for an April in Germany. The hottest April ever. Normally we have 47l of water per sqare meter, now we only have 3L. Kung Fu Fighting  Playing with daddy is so cool  Hug me!  A little bit too heavy to carry   That´s fuuuun!  Woof!  Tug o war  Finished  That´s it from me Bakkies  |

Fantastic piccies,god,you have such heat!!The dogs struggle here in this heat too,we are always hosing them down!!Your lot are having great fun.He so reminds me of a brindle version of Tanner(Martine's dog).
Do you have drought restrictions??

Hi Sandra, not yet, but we are asked not to water gardens. 40% of all agriculture products are either too small or sered. A very hard year for farmers. They do not let the cows out because the grass is already brown. I have to llok for a picture of Tanner Bakkies hates water and he hates water hoses so now way to cool him down.  |

He's looking in such good shape - I know what you mean - its a problem when they don't like water being able to cool them down.Although this weather is great its a pain trying to sort out when its cool enough for them to go out.The number of times I've driven past people with over-weight long-haired black retrievers & they are road walking them in the midday sun - it makes my blood boil.Would they like to be walked across very hot sand with no shoes on , I sometimes shout out to them!

Ju, nice to hear that you do not shut your eyes! Some people are too stupid. Poor dogs... I do not think he is in a good shape. His belly looks awfull. He needs to do more excercise, my boy is getting a little bit fat |

Yes he looks like a brindle version of my boy tanner. Tanner also hates water and is terrifed of the garden hose. There are some pics of him in the gallery.
