Jenny Shes lovely - I do love the red BBs. I notice in the last photo you have the same problem as me in that she doesn't photo as a red sometimes. Buse even after her op is looking really good now coat wise, perhaps something to do with salmon kibble with drops of virgin olive oil& infused garlic.Need to see more pics of chunky monkey though please. Hi Thanks for the compliments, I will pass them on to her! Kitty is so laid back, nothing, absolutely nothing upsets her. She takes everything in her stride and at the moment is the only one of my dogs I can keep together with anyone else! Bob adores her, Minnie plays with her and she sits on Tokkie's head (poor old soul). She has no dominance in her, just easy going and pleased to see everyone. Except when she is alone, then she will take on security duties, otherwise she leaves it to someone else - usually Bob of course!
Poor Bob is very sick at the moment, his leg has blown up absolutely huge, back to the vets everyday since Sunday, they think he has been bitten by a Black Spider! Apparently they are attracted to any shaved skin and are extremely venomous. Bob is now on very high doses of Baytril liquid 10% and is feeling horrid, he just didn't need this right now and quite honestly neither did we! I will try to get pics of his leg and post them over the next few days. The swelling is so big it has opened the wound from his operation, so now fighting infection off too. Not an easy time for us at the moment, first Kit with her cruciate 7 weeks ago, Tokkie diagnosed with bone cancer 2 weeks ago, Bob with his cruciate 10 days ago and now this! I can't quite believe it all, but it's just too bizarre to make up!

I've just taken a couple of pictures of Bob's leg after the possible spider bite. Not a pretty sight. But I thought it might be of interest.

Hi Sandra Poor Bob was in such a lot of pain with this, at first I thought he had been bitten by a snake, I'm still not convinced he hasn't as it just happened, out for a wee, absolutely fine, next minute on three legs and crying with pain. I thought he'd done the joint again, but then the swelling started and it just kept getting bigger and bigger. The photo doesn't really show the full extent. Anyway, he seems to be a lot more comfortable now, so obviously on the mend, but it does scare me when a dog who shows absolutely no signs of weakness suffers enough to actually cry with pain, it really must be bad. Still learning about the "wildlife" out here, we didn't have this sort of thing in Sussex! Still waiting for the silver lining, but when I look at my dogs I realise I've already got it!!!
