Hi everybody, posting on behalf of one of our puppy owners.Tanner is now a year and has had a mild case of canine acne on his chin for a wee while now, they have tried all different creams and lotions, any new ideas as it has become quite bad now.Interestingly while he was here on his hols it all cleared up,I have no idea why as we didn't put a thing on it at all.All advice greatly appreciated,Sandra.

Hello Sandra, are you sure that he does not have an allergic reaction to something he is exposed to in his home, something he was not exposed to at your place?

We thought of that and have racked brains to see if they are using anything different, can't think of anything so far.they are going to replace the carpet to see if that helps at all,but I explained we had carpet here in the main room,I just can't think what else it could be or how to clear it up.

Hi Sandra Please no-one mock me for this Is Tanner a 'lap' dog? As he only has acne on his chin, if he is like Buse, when we sit down of an evening on the sofas etc she will come up by us.She is not allowed to put paws up on us but is allowed to place her head on our laps. The only thing with the rash being that specific is maybe the brand of washing powder they use on their clothes.Having had children - this has been a problem to them in the past.(That probably sounds wrong - we do actually allow the children on the furniture )But I mean itchy rash etc. Hope this makes sense & you're not crying too much with laughter !! PS Forgot to mention - if they're nudists that theory wouldn't work! Ju
