How heavy duty of a dog do you require for the security job . I hav3e trained a male to work with an armoured car situation , to accompany armed guard to and from the deposit/ pick-up area.To exit the vehicle before the guard & go into a down on the sidewalk , then accompany dog to the TM machine & down behind the guard to protect his / her back , then only enter the vehicle after the guard has entered. All in all a good program for this dog. He was aggressive , but " STABLE" often not seen in this breed , at least in my area.

Hi Paulc & Elsa I have never used a dog in the 'security' field - not that good a trainer. I believe that Mark Boreham uses his for security & he is a very stable dog(I think is Anasha Rogue - probably wrong though).I also think that Mark Beasley from TopGuard has trained his dogs for security work. Sorry I can't be of any more use, but I am sure the two people mentioned above will have invaluable advice. Regards Ju
