Hello Ju, I am afraid that I have absolutely no influence on how SABT deal with their paper work. We are EBBASA representatives and have nothing to do with SABT.
If I could help you I would. I suggest that you contact Carine Bollen and ask her what has happened to the papers. Bollen.Carine@pandora.be

Ju,
You shouldn't have any problems with Buse - you would just need to refer people to us. I think there is a lot of un-needed scare mongering going on.
Dogs which are well mannered and under control like Buse are in absolutely no danger. It is only if your dog causes someone else a serious threat - you would need to worry.
Responsible BB owners are not going to let their dogs run free in inappropriate places nor use them to frighten their neighbours.
The dogs that have been confiscated by the police were clearly dangerous and most involved in the dog fighting ring that was allegedly behind the dog which killed the little girl at New Year.
These are the dogs which do need to be impounded and re-trained or if really dangerous - sadly PTS.

Yep I do agree Geri It is hyped up scare-mongering - but in this neck of the woods we have quite a few 'pikey' sites (Please no one take offense) These are the same people who have offered their so say Tosas & Canarios to mate with Buse etc. We don't suffer fools gladly & told them on occasions to shove it, along with their pegs where the sun doesn't shine. Ju,
I can see why you might be concerned but I think the dog fighting rings are more organised and tend to be "estate" based. Fortunately this means that they are likely to be complained about by their neighbours and I think we will see more and more of these groups of dogs being taken by the police. This can only be a good thing for all dogs and we just need to be extra vigilant that we don't get conned into selling a puppy to people like this.
We always take people's address and post code and then look up thier address on the internet - houses for sale site. This tells us what sort of house they live in. This is not to ensure that their house is big - just that they have told us the truth.
They don't claim to have a big garden when actually they live in a tower block.
This may seem paranoid but we think our dogs are worth it. We have also talked about asking people for a reference from their vet.
