Hi guys I know its not related - but funny anyway. My 14 yr old son has set up his own music website for his 'band' that was formed in Nov 06. He plays the flute (Taught by myself) & the vocalist is rubbish. Two out of the 3 tracks he also wrote. He has played 2 'gigs' already & is looking into playing at one of the major festivals here in the UK. Please send me your condolences - my son uses the summer house for his electric & acoustic guitars, my daughter(12) uses the garage for her drums! Any rate website that my son designed can be found on www.myspace.com/itsmajoracleFor Germans among you - my favorite band is Nina Hagen - so I don't like it ! Ju

Know exactly how it is! I spend some Friday's a month volunteering at a youth club in the village and last friday we had a rap-concert!!
Ohh well, to summon it up, I don't like rap very much (I'm a soul and blues person myself) but the kids wrote the lyrics themself and it was GOOD!!
They even maid a record out of it so if you want to listen to some southern swedish rap give me a holler and I'll toss their CD in the snailmail for ya. Ewa

I just talked to my webmaster about it yesterday and he will see if he can figure out a way to make a "double" of the homepage but all text will be in english. It's not the translation as such, though that will take some hours too, it's the fact that my webmaster builds everything himself - no frames are used, just "real" computer programing. My page is the first one he built in Internet explorer, he normally works with Linux and another program. So he needs some time to figure out how to do it. The poor man also has to work and give 2 bb's what they need so I'm happy he took the time to make it at all He's also building an info page for Helena about the bb. But all will come to the one who waits - patiently You can check out his web page at; www.arivene.net. There's an english version for you illiterates Ewa

Hi Ewa Ignore Sandra - please don't even think about a Scottish translation - it would have too many words you just wouldn't be able to translate in it! It is times like these when I realise just what a lazy nation we are! Ju

Ewa Many thanks - got the CD this morning & have listened to it already. Can't wait for Ben to get back from school, so he can hear it. Most of it reminded me of Eminem/Slim Shady - who believe it or not ,I love his music. To me & this is just my personal opinion track 4 was appalling & lacked any whoop, tracks 2 & 3 were very Eastern European & track 8 was Indie. Thankyou , you put a smile my 'lived in' face today. Ju

Glad you liked it! All the people on the record are between 13-20 years old. They've written all lyrics by them self and they made the record at a very small studio at the local youth club. YC is situated in a small town (30.000 inhab's) and the profile of the city is very working class, with very many refugees from war places. Tough climate in other words.
Glad we could help with the smiles ;D
