Hi Jan Just before the RR had her first season - it was a real nightmare. Buse was only 6 months then but even so it took two of us to separate them.I think the main prob was that they were both dominant type breeds. Also my RR broke her back balancing toe when only 12 weeks old & it took 3 months in cast to sort her out. Not a great start. But now shes loving life down in Devon on 20 acres with a 5 yr old male RR for Company. Oh to be a dog Ju

Hello Everyone, My name is Marcella Burgess, and we live in Northern Ontario Canada. We are owned by 7 boerboels, names are as follows Talas, Hannah, Angel, Lady, Legacy, Charisma (CRIZ), and Baron.... and two cats which are always in mortal danger from our girl Angel! We have been around for almost 4 years within the boerboel community and hopefully quite a few more... by the way ... none of these years have been without heartache I am not completely computer savy as of just yet so I don't know exactly how to post any pics here... but you can see most of our guys at www.Proudfootkennels.comMarcella

My name is Petra, i´m from Sweden. I live with my boyfriend and my two dogs, Douglas- a 4 year old rottweiler/ german shepard and Boston- a 4 months old BB from Norboerboels i Norway. Both Douglas & Boston are the light in my life and where ever i go, my boy´s come with me. If you want you can come and see us on our homepage... hem.bredband.net/petraochgrabbarna ;D hi petra, nice dogs, do they both live in the house with you, i found my boy was ok with other males till he reached 2 years old, then he just wouldn't tolerate them anymore, admittedley he wasn't brought up with any males just girls, jan Hi, Yes we are aware of BB can develope a bit intolerance towards other male dogs, but everybody we alked to before getting a bb encourage us... it´s easier if they were brought up together and kept the discipline between them and showed them that you don´t accept any trouble. A strong leadership that is. Of course we don´t hope there will be any trouble between them, but if there will be we have to deal with it later and maby castrate my oldest dog, and see if that helps.

Hi Ewa, how could I forget you guys with all the good food you made ;D I guess you slept in the kitchen. ;D We are all doing fine so far, thank you. I really enjoyed the Appraisal at Denmark. Only very nice people there and everything went so smooth, at least I think so. I wish it would be always like this between the BB people.

Hi Ewa,
Wish our appraisal in the UK had been like that! Hopefully next year we will be able to make it as good as yours. Paul still raves about your food, I'm sure that would help too. Well fed people are less likely to argue.

Well...Don't want to brag but theres a few people in the bb-world that raves about my Chile con carne......and it's not 'cause they spent the night in the bathroom More likely because of the amount of chile I put in it But you sure are right - Good food and plenty off it along with some cold beers will keep most people in a good mood! Nothing beats Ewa and Görans cooking, Ewa´s chili con carne is without doubt worth travelling for and people all over Europe can vouch for that. In fact we are beginning to suspect that the appraisal is only the second attraction Shaun and Anne

Hi Shaun/Anne/Ewa,
Paul forgot to mention the cold beer!!!! I just thought he had been eating and smoking - not drinking as well. At the UK appraisal there were only soft drinks!
What else did he get up to that you guys forgot to tell me???
