Lurkers are a pain in the backside, they take for themselves by reading the posts, but they do not contribute anything positive to a board/community by sharing their thoughts or ideas.  I will keep an eye on the members that do not post and they will get a warning at some time in the future, if they ignore that warning, then I will ban them.  That should get rid of those who only want to keep an eye on developments in this forum. Shaun |

Hi Shaun! Don't worrie about the lurckers  Look at them like being interested readers that doesn't dare to post, just yet! I'm a lurcker myself at 2 forums - One is way over my knowledge but it helps me understand genetics a bit better by reading it, the other one is a scandinavian site that discussess Barf - I lern a lot and I get to understand the pro's and negatives. I don't think I made more than 2 posts in either. But I am very greatful that I am allowed to hang on there to read and learn. Ewa |

Hi Shaun you will always get lurkers because they are nosey by nature and generally like to know what is going on but their only contribution is to critisize when it suits them.If you have lurkers then the forum is a success.Regards Paul.

Hi Paul! Don't flatter me, I might believe you We're getting better over here. Things didn't look all that bright a while ago with Chili but things have finally turned for the better. Went for Chilis check-up a week ago and the specialist thinks everything looks great. So now we're allowed to walk a couple of km a day. Chili has also been allowed to go into the lake for short walks, a couple of times a week and you get one guess if she's enjoying that How are you guy's doing? Ewa |

Hi Ewa our guys are doing great.We have two females in season at the moment so watching out for the mood swings.The males are very vocal when the females are about.Great news about Chilli as she is such a sweet girl.So is Mubi.Regards Paul.

Its one of thems not Taz is it ?
Buse is being abit moody at the moment but as yet not showing.
Hopefully will start GCA Bronze next week & agility - but it'll be just our luck not to be able to.Never mind fingers crossed.
Also hopefully off to Frampton T&C Fayre this Sunday which is areally good day out for all of us - it's not 'snooty' like alot of them can be.

Keep and eye open,if you get people that just watch,not write anything,you can always ban them.
This is how they do it at the Swedish pitbull forum,they got a lot of people that register,but not write anything.Just spread rumors about the forum,bad ones..
People that watach often got lots of opinions about the forums they watch when they talk to friends,but do not dare write anything.

Hi Julie yes one of them is Taz the other is Beauty.Strangely enough they are both getting on with each other brilliantly.Going to keep them apart shortly as the dreaded Phantom pregnancy is sure to kick in.

Geri Hello Geri, we can see their computer ID, we can then trace the ID to where they are. There are some from UK (London, Cheltenham, Northampton and Gloucester) some from USA and one from Sweden. We have now changed the settings so that they have to register in order to read the posts. Regards Anne and Shaun |

And the one from Sweden is probably me 'cause half of the time I'm too lazy to sign in or know I won't have the time to write anything. I think you put to much thoughts into who it is and were they're from. Who gives a ....  ? If people want to read and gossip, let them! In the end they will expose themselfes like Sandra found out about people telling bull about her dogs. People like that will always exicist. Why give them our time and energy? Ewa |

I´m one of the people who lurk around…  I read and try to learn as much as possible. I don´t write very much in here, because I find that there are others that know alot more about the boerboel compared to me. Hope you´re not going to ban us… |

Trouble is there is such things as genuie lurkers.I for one have been lurking on several sites just to get the general feel for the breed and to get some idea of whose who.
I must say however although i'm learning loads i still have no idea whose who!

That depends on who you talk to Simon, those that buy from us tend to be happy, however not everyone in UK says nice things about us. You cannot please everyone, especially those that know nothing about your dogs and have their own reasons for saying what they say.

I'm a content buyer! Known Anne & Shaun for about 5 years now and got my first dog from them 2.5 years ago - Spent a little bit more than 2 years pestering them first ;D Got so burnt by buying my first bb I wanted to be sure when I got my second one and so far - NO complaints. Also got my second bb from them - a former kenneldog and she has transited brilliantly in to houselife.
